In 2013, MSc. Eng. Jakub Frątczak graduated from Bioinformatics at Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences with a Bachelor degree (Poland). Subsequently, he studied Biotechnology with the specialty of Molecular Biotechnology and Biocatalysis in faculty of Chemistry at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology (Poland), which he graduated in 2016 with Masters of Science in Engineering degree.
His master’s thesis consisted of performing of the organic synthesis pathway, which resulted in three Polish Patent Applications for newly synthesized compounds (P-419801, P-419802, P-419803). At UniCRE he is working as a researcher, deputy head of the Laboratory of Organic Synthesis. He has over 3 years of experience focused mainly on direct coal liquefaction, Fischer-Tropsch product processing/co-processing and FAME/FAEE production.
His field of research interest is oriented on biotechnology, biofuels and alternative energy sources. At UniCRE, he is taking care of autoclave reactions as well as fuel upgrading using flow-reactors.
